Entrance Procedures
Club Members and Homeowners
- A window decal sticker shall identify members and homeowners for access into the community. The decal sticker should be placed in the lower corner of the windshield on the driverʼs side of the vehicle.
- The Guard Officer will station himself/herself outside the guardhouse so that they are available to offer a personal greeting while opening the gate and waving the Resident/Member through. If a Resident/Member pulls up behind a visitor, note that Residents/Members are our priority.
- Radio contact on Channel-5 with the Outside Services Team shall confirm the arrival of each club member and guest that is going to the clubhouse.
Guests of Members or Homeowners with Advance Notification
- The Main Entrance guard officer will be provided a list of guests expected each day. Only those people listed will be authorized to enter the community.
- Once greeted at the main entrance, the officer shall ensure the guestʼs name appears on the list for access. If not, a call will be made to the Club or Resident for confirmation to allow guest access.
- If the sponsoring member has already arrived, the guest will receive a Guest Pass with the sponsorʼs name and current date and be given directions to the clubhouse or appropriate home site. Guest Passes are disposable.
- If the sponsoring member has not arrived, the guest may enter the community if his or her name is on the guest list. They can wait for their sponsor at the Golf Shop, Sport Centre, or Grill as appropriate. Golfing guests will not have access to the course or practice facilities. A Guest Pass will be prepared as stated above.
- If the guest is not on the daily guest list, all efforts will be exhausted to confirm the validity of the visit. If the Golf Shop does not have a confirmation for a guest, then the guest is not allowed to go to the clubhouse. They have the option to wait on the street on Aliso Canyon Road for the member sponsoring him or her, or they can return later.
- The Guard Director will be responsible for the implementation and control of the Guest Pass system.
- A Guest Pass only authorizes the individual to visit the clubhouse, home site, or other specified destination. Guest Pass holders are not allowed to freely tour the community unless authorized. A Guest Pass must be posted on the driver's side windshield for easy viewing. A Guest Pass is property of The Bridges and must be returned if requested.
The Bridges Team Members
- All Bridges Team members will be issued a name tag and vehicle decal sticker. Team Members must wear their name tag while on the premises. The vehicle decal sticker must be placed on the lower corner of the driver side of the windshield. This will allow them to enter at the main gate entrance only.
- Team Memberʼs Vehicle Decal Stickers will be color-coded and changed periodically to validate current employment. The Guard Director will be responsible for the implementation and control of the Team Member identification system in coordination with the Bridges Club administrative department.
- Team Members may only enter the community when coming to work, picking up their paychecks, or for club business unless otherwise authorized.
- Team Members must request permission in advance from their Department head to bring any guests into the community. Such authorization shall be included on the daily guest list provided to the Guard Director or Guard Officer on duty. Guests must always remain in the company of the employee.
Permanent Guest List
- A Permanent List of all recurring guests authorized by the homeowners will be placed in the computer system at the guardhouse. The Guard Director will maintain the system. It is the homeownerʼs responsibility to give the Guard Director the names of the people they would like to appear on their list and be removed from their list.
-
These guests will be greeted and asked their names. The guard will check to see if their name is on the Permanent List before allowing them access through the gate.
All guests will be issued a Guest Pass, including the ones on the permanent list, for the appropriate allotment of time of their visit.
-
If a guest is not on the permanent guest list, the Guard Officer must telephone the homeowner for approval before providing the guest access into the community. If a homeowner cannot be reached by home phone or cell phone, then the guest will be turned away.
-
Only individuals with earnest money placed on deposit or have completed the purchase of a home site shall be allowed to enter the community without an escort.
The Sales Team is responsible for providing a list of authorized home site buyers to the Guard Manager. The buyers will be placed in the computer system along with the site purchase for Guard reference.
If their name is not on the current list of home site owners, the client must be escorted or authorized by a Sales Representative to enter the community.
Upon confirmation by Sales, the guard officer shall allow them into the community by issuing a Guest Pass.
The Home site Guest Pass authorizes the individual to visit the Home sites only. The club facilities are off-limits unless otherwise authorized.
-
Only those Vendors and/or Business associates with confirmed appointments will be considered visitors and will receive a Guest Pass.
-
The Guard Officer on duty shall enter the Guest name, Company name, Vehicle identification, Site to be visited, Sponsor name, and the time on the Guest Pass before allowing them into the community.
-
For the Vendors that visit the Club facilities on a regular basis, there will be an authorized vendor list maintained at the guardhouse. The Guard Officer on duty will confirm that the vendor name is on the list before he/she proceeds through the gate.
-
The Guest Pass issued is valid for that day only.
Guard Alarm/Monitoring Service, Utility Providers and Delivery Services

They should use the delivery entrance to access the property. Oversized trucks are directed to the West Construction Gate to access the property. A vehicle Guest Pass, map with directions, and traffic notice will be given to the driver.
- Special arrangements must be made for furniture or similar deliveries being made to individual home sites. Each homeowner is responsible for calling the Guardhouse to inform of the date of delivery, time of delivery, and name of the delivery company.
- If a delivery arrives unannounced, the guard officer must call the homeowner for permission before allowing the delivery vehicle to enter the community. The Guard Officer will make a DAR (Daily Activity Report) entry of the arrival of any deliveries being made in the community regardless of the destination.
- The Guard Officer will direct all deliveries for the clubhouse to the service parking lot behind the clubhouse. A vehicle pass, map with directions, and traffic notice will be given to the driver.

- Individuals interested in Golf Club membership may not enter by themselves. Admittance will need to be granted by the Club Management.
Officials with Proper Credentials
- Fire Marshals, State, County, and City Officials will be allowed access to the community for official business. Private investigators/undercover agents that are not affiliated with the sheriff department are not allowed access to the property for any reason.
- Law enforcement officers may enter the property at any time if they provide a reason for their visit and their designation within the community. They are to enter through the main entrance only, unless authorized or in an emergency.
- If an Official or a Process Server with the proper credentials is serving a summons or a subpoena within the community, a Guard Officer will escort the official to the designated address that they are serving. Once contact is made, they will be escorted off the property.
- If a registered Process Server attempts to serve a Bridges employee, Guard needs to notify Human Resources before escorting the official into the community.
- If a registered Process Server attempts to serve a homeowner/resident, a Front Gate attendant will request their credentials and identification card. Then notify the resident that a process server is on the way. NOTE: If the homeowner/resident does not want the Process Server to come to their home, they can meet the official at the main gate. If the homeowner/resident refuses any contact with the Process Server, Guard will inform them that the official, by state law, has the right to enter the community and come to their front door.
Issuing Vehicle Passes
- Vehicle Passes will be issued depending on the length of time (days) that is required to complete the job. They will not exceed 1 month at a time. The Guard Officer will renew all expired vehicle passes.
